Well, it's time to really get going to get ready for the upcoming year. We have so many great things planned for this next year! We will be having a regularly scheduled practice on Saturday April 28th at 9am. At 11:30am that morning, parents are invited to come in for an informational meeting. We will be discussing upcoming events, schedules, fundraisers and answering any questions that you might have.
Also, on May 2nd for only $10, any student who is in need of a physical for next year may get one here at the high school. Several area doctors will be coming to the high school after school on the 2nd and students can get their physical for $10. So if your child has not had a physical since February 1st of this year, then they will need a physical before summer practices start. It is strongly encouraged that you take advantage of this opportunity.
It is a great honor that the pom squad has been invited to accompany the marching band on their trip to Florida this coming year. Every four years, the marching band travels to Walt Disney World in Florida and performs in the Main Street Parade in Disney World. They travel down by bus, stay for 4 days, perform, and get to spend the rest of their time touring Disney and other attractions. Don't worry, there are going to be plenty of opportunities for the girls to raise money for this trip. The idea is that we can participate in enough fundraising that we can all go to Florida without it costing families. To get everyone involved, we have been invited to the Band Boosters meeting. It will be Tuesday May 1st at 7pm in the band room at the high school. The Band Boosters help raise money for the trip.
